Practices: The practices of San Diego Shotokan, Encinitas are open to the public. Everyone is welcome to watch our practices. Please come early and introduce yourself to a brown or black belt. We'll be happy to answer any questions you have. If you arrive late or need to leave before practice ends, do so quietly. As a courtesy, please refrain from any conversations and cell phone calls that may disrupt the practice. Practices are held at the San Dieguito Academy Gym in Encintas, California, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Practice starts at 6:30 and ends at 8:00 pm. Sunday morning practices are from 9:00 - 11:00 am. Note that there is no practice when the school is closed for a holiday. |

Driving directions: Take Interstate 5 to Santa Fe Drive, turn right and go east 3 blocks, past the stoplight at Nardo Street. The school is on the left. To reach the gym, follow the main sidewalk from the parking lot, through the open lawn, and between the buildings. The gym is the brown building on the left. We normally practice in the dance room on the right side behind the bleachers. In the case of a school event, practices may also take place in another room, or on the lawn in front of the gym. Please stick around and watch out for any white dressed people on the campus. |
